A Visit to Tomorrow's People

My Brother rings at the gate and knocks on the door loudly. It makes me nervous. He comes home at 2 o’ clock because he is writing exams.
We went to Gym. I did tummy exercises and pedaled for 10 minutes and rowed for 10 minutes. Afterwards we went to Steers for a cold drink and to practice my speech. We stayed at Steers because we wanted to wait until it was break at Tomorrow’s People. We had to give back Kaolin’s glasses which she had left here on Wednesday. They had cake and candy sale during break.

Sad news

On Friday our meercat, Rose, died and we all are very sad.
On Saturday we went to Tannie Deonette’s house and afterwards to Tannie Adrie’s house and we cooked food.
On Sunday we went to Woolworths. We went to movies to watch High school musical 3 senior year.
On Monday we went to gym for express abs class.

Voortrekker Monument

I did the weather chart.
We went to the Voortekker Monument. My brother and his friend went with Teacher Miekie and me. We looked at the frieze that tells the story of the Voortrekkers. I liked the panel of Dingane best. We climbed up the stairs. We saw the museum. Their Bibles were very big. Their dresses were very long. They had to bake bread in anthills. They had to make their own candles, biltong, bullets, riempies (narrow strips of leather) and soap.
When we came back my brother and his friend went to his friend’s house. We fetched Kaolin on our way back.

On Wednesday my family and I went to the Ocean basket.
I ate prawns and rice. It was my parents’ 20th wedding anniversary.
We came back.
On Thursday we went to gym. On Wednesday I burned 69 calories, but on Thursday I burned 98 calories and we did express abs as well.
On Sunday we went to Menlyn. My Mommy bought me a Hannah Montana T-shirt and a black skirt.
Yesterday we went to gym again. We did a lot of express abs exercises.
I did the 4x and 2x tables. I can also multiply with 10, 9 and 11.The dentist pulled out my tooth. I was very scared and I cried. I was disappointed in myself. I thought I would be brave enough not to cry

A visit to my Oupa

On Friday we went to Durban. We took our meercat, Rose, with us. She was very good.
We stopped at Harrismith. We ate at Nando’s.
We saw Drakensberg mountains along the way.
We slept in my ouma’s house.
On Saturday we went to hospital to see my oupa.
My family visited him because he was very sick.
Shaen and I swam with my cousins Robyn and Tayla.
We came back on Sunday. On Monday we went to gym. Monique came to play. We ate with them at their house in the evening.
Today I did sums and I drew pictures for my Bible file. I looked at videos on how to draw on internet.

We went to the show in Bellville. We went to a wine farm in Franschoek. My mommy took a photo of me in front of wooden vats. I tasted wine with my family. I like white wine best. My daddy bought me appletizer and cheese biscuits.
