School Started Today

On Saturday I stayed at home because I did not want to watch a scary movie. My Dad and brother went to movies and my mom went for a facial. I watched some TV. In the afternoon my dad and I watched rugby.
On Sunday we went to Oom P.W.’s new house. We saw his kitchen and TV room and bedroom. The house looks wonderful. When we came back we watched the men’s final of the French Open Tennis championship. Roger Federer won.

I would stay home too - because I don't like scary movies either! I like adventure movies with happy endings! :-)

I wouldn't have wanted to watch the scary movie either, Tamerin. I hope your brother and your dad enjoyed it, and that your Mum enjoyed the facial.

Great to see Federer winning the French Open at last. He wanted to for such a long time.

Must have been interesting to see the house. I like to see new houses too.

Dear Molytail

Hi Tamerin :-) ...hmmm, one of my very favourite movies is called "The Princess Bride". It's a little old, made in 1987, but it's really funny - and of course, it has a happy ending! I've seen High School Musical before with my daughter but we haven't seen the new Hannah Montana movie yet. I know a lot of her songs because my daughter plays them in our van all the time - I like her song called "Nobody's Perfect" because it's so true.. we all make mistakes sometimes LOL :-)

I still haven't seen The Princess Bride yet. Have first heard of it in 2001, long after it was made. I read the script of it some time on the computer. And I quite liked it and saw the pictures.

About Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana: There is a song on radio at the moment called Climbing which has a very country vibe. I have enjoyed it several times. And her Dad also did country music a long time ago; the song Achy Breaky Heart is full of line dancing.

What other songs does your daughter play in the van, Molytail?

Forgot to ask you about rugby in my last comment, Tamerin. I don't have any special question at the moment but am looking forward to the Proteas and the local teams. The Super 14 was really good as far as I was aware.
